Survivor Outreach

WE CANNOT CHANGE THE WORLD BY OURSELVES

to support people who have lost a loved one to suicide.

Our outreach services are here to support people who have lost a loved one to suicide.  It is devastating and confusing to lose a spouse, a child, a sibling, a relative, a friend to suicide, and we are here to help people code with the aftermath of such a loss.

We provide support services that offer hope, comfort, and healing to those in grief from suicide loss.  Our hope is to give survivors a place where they can be comfortable expressing themselves, a place to find support, comfort, and hope in a judgement-free environment.

When faced with a tragedy, you may be wondering what direction to take.  Some of the help we can provide include:

  1. Locating local support groups, spiritual resources, and bereavement and financial counselors.
  2. We help you request and obtain copies of documents, books, media to assist in grief and bereavement.
  3. Offer understanding and guidance in the weeks and months following a suicide death.

Help is at Hand

Help is at Hand provides people affected by suicide with both emotional and practical support.  We hope you will find it helpful to have information about what you might be feeling, practical matters you are likely to have to deal with and suggestions on further help and support in the weeks and months ahead.
